National Sales Group & Partner Development Business Providing custom enterprise e-commerce solutions and hosting solutions to the G2000, Network Commerce was growing rapidly and planning to complete an IPO within 10 months of our assignment. Challenge Seeking to rapidly expand their already dominant position in providing B2B and B2C services, via the Internet and now focused on Fortune 1000 companies, Network Commerce executives required a large pipeline and new Partners willing to accept an aggressive sales and service program. Approach / Solution Woodstock Group provided senior management with support in designing and building out their National Sales Group and developing the new Partner program. The National Sales Group initiative required Woodstock Group to lead the process of developing Sales Plans, Budgets, MBO's, Client Profiles, Customer Service requirements and internal Provisioning services. Next, Woodstock Group managed the interview and selection process of the new VP of Sales and four Regional Managers, located in the U.S. All candidates were selected from leading Fortune 500 companies. Simultaneously, Woodstock Group assisted in outlining the new Partner Group and proceeded to work directly with new Partners from the Fortune 1000. This included completing negotiations and contracts with international brands and retailers that addressed the B2B and B2C dotcom markets. Results New Partners were successfully contracted, the national sales offices were complete and producing revenues and the company successfully completed its required quiet period and the Initial Public Offering, (IPO) and was listed on the NASDAQ. Woodstock Group reported directly to the CEO, President and CFO for both assignments. |
